John Lloyd Cruz: A True Pretty Boy If There Was One

OMG! Now I remember I've seen John Lloyd in a movie - last year, in that gay movie where he played the lover of Lucky Manzano. I think they did fine in that movie but I just didn't quite feel that they actually loved each other. They were too straight-acting! Even the butchiest gay man has a subtle hint of gayness in him - how he looks at guys, his fashion, his grooming.

Anyway, John Lloyd is quirky and adorable in his new movie The Amnesia Girl, so I'm not surprised why he has so many fans. One thing I like in the movie though is that he undresses twice! He doesn't have the sexiest of bodies but it's so sexy to see since it's fresh and unspoilt from unnecessary weight training! I think that's what makes him look so adorable! I told my friend he is this generation's Aga Muhlach - a true pretty boy in the sense of the word. Aga also didn't have that buffed body in his younger days but he was cute as a button!

John Lloyd also makes a reliable romantic leading man since the way he woos Toni here is quite believable. I think his major asset are those eyes of his - especially when he makes those puppy eyes! I think that's what makes the ladies swoon! I would swoon if he takes off those pants and........By the way, he does a striptease act here, very cute! And gets his body swathed with body oil!
